Hamming Code
Universal systematic code calculator with dmin=3.
📚 About Algorithm
Hamming code is a linear error-correcting code that can detect and fix single-bit errors by adding specific parity bits.
- Principle: Parity bits are placed at positions that are powers of two (1, 2, 4, 8...).
- Syndrome: The syndrome S calculated during decoding points directly to the erroneous bit index.
- Application: ECC RAM, RAID systems, and reliable digital data transmission.
